Blaise Heywood
Blaise is a 21 year old AuDHD actor, creative, and spoken word artist, with current bases in Manchester and York. Blaise has trained with several theatre companies, including Young Octagon, based at the Octagon Theatre in Bolton, and, more recently, Storyhouse Young Company (SYC) based at Storyhouse in Chester. Blaise is also a current member of the National Youth Theatre. Recent credits include “Love & Information” at Storyhouse, and several performances in The Drama Barn at the University of York. Outside of acting, Blaise is also an award winning activist for autistic and neurodivergent rights, with accolades including “Neurodivergent Young Achiever of the Year 2024” (Genius Within Celebrating Neurodiversity awards), and “People’s Autism Hero of the Year 2025) (Anna Kennedy OBE Autism Hero awards). A fun fact about Blaise is that she can sing the alphabet backwards!
