Liz Kent

Liz Kent (she/her) is an actor, musician, and intimacy director, originally from New Jersey and North Carolina in the United States, and now is based in London, UK.
Her first love was music, and she received her undergrad with a BA in Dramatic Art and a BM in Vocal Performance at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Go Heels!), where she studied classical voice and fell in love with musical theatre. She worked as a professional actor in New Jersey following her undergrad, where she took classes with Randall Duk Kim and Annie Occhiogrosso, and found her second love, the classics. She also worked as an intimacy director, where she became entranced with stories that push boundaries and toe the line of how far a piece of art is willing to go, and revels in working on toothy art as an actor as well.
She moved to London for her MFA in Acting at East 15 Acting School, which helped her build the embodied practice that she has today. She’s also a musician, writing folk music and choir arrangements, and plays intermediate viola, and basic piano, guitar, and violin.
If she’s not rewatching Bojack Horseman or exploring the nooks and crannies of London, she’s home brewing beer or stitching on an embroidery hoop.
