Maria Stana

Maria has been working as a children’s entertainer since November 2025. Drawing on her acting background, she brings characters to life through lively improvisation and playful storytelling, creating engaging and memorable experiences for children.

Maria recently co-founded Volya Theatre Company, a London-based theatre company led by Eastern European artists, creating intimate, multicultural work exploring themes of migration, identity and belonging.

The company’s first production, No Translation For This: Celebrating Eastern European Voices, was performed at OSO Arts Centre in April 2026. This was followed by All Other Passports: An Immigrant’s Cabaret, performed at Omnibus Theatre in July 2026.

I am also currently in pre-production for the short film The Inherited Error, where I am working as an Assistant Producer. I will also be appearing in the film in a supporting role as a nurse.
